Rhyme Time is a program of songs, rhymes, felt board stories, and finger plays for children who are 18-36 months old and are accompanied by an adult.
Summer Rhyme Time is at 10:30 - 11:00 AM Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on July 8 and July 10 and will continue for six weeks ending on , August 14.
All children’s programs are drop in. Please call the New Hartford Public Library at 733-1535 for more information.

Story Time at the New Hartford Public Library consists of stories, songs, rhymes and crafts and is for children who are 3 - 5 years old and are accompanied by an adult.
Spring Story Time is at 10:30 - 11:00 AM starting on Tuesday - April 15, Wednesday - April 16, and Thursday - April 17 and will continue for five weeks ending on May 15.
Summer Story Time is at 10:30 - 11:00 AM on Wednesdays starting on July 9 and will continue for six weeks ending on , August 13.

Preschool Playgroup
On the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, from 10:30 - 11:30 AM, preschool children and their caregivers may drop in at the New Hartford Public Library for a playgroup. Toys, books, music and crafts will be available with a snack and juice provided. Coffee, tea and cocoa are available in the library cafe. The drop in playgroups will be on February 8,22, March 14, 28, and April 11,25.
Baby Lapsit
For Children 6 -- 18 months with an adult. 1st and 3rd Friday, April 4, 18, May 2, 16, 10:30 -- 11:00 AM at New Hartford Public Library. Drop in program of rhymes, songs and movement.
