Park Passes

Park Passes

The New Hartford Public Library is thrilled to announce some new additions to our “collection”.  Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the New Hartford Public Library, patrons can now check out park passes to area parks.

Below you will find the details and instructions on how to borrow these passes.

  • Cards are not allowed to be placed on hold online.  Patrons can call and ask to hold them but they must be picked up  by the end of that day.  Our phone number is 315-733-1535.
  • They are checked out for 1 week.  Each day they are overdue a $2.00 fine will be placed on the patron’s card.  After one week of being overdue, patrons are charged the full value of the pass.
  • Passes are not renewable.
  • The passes must be returned by hand to the circulation desk and only at the New Hartford Public Library.  They may not be placed in any outside drop box.
  • They must be checked out on an adult card.

**Library cards alone will not gain patrons access to these venues.  Park Passes must be checked out and used at each location. **
