Cornell Cooperative Extension Supervisor Helen Madden will present a detailed program entitled “LEAD POISONING PREVENTION.” The fact that the following week is “National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week” makes this a timely event. Lead can cause brain/nervous system damage, hyperactivity, slowed growth, and even death. The lead poisoning issue arises annually, making Ms. Madden’s presentation a “must see” for all concerned residents.
